PlanetSigmon co-chairs advocacy efforts of USGBC Texas. State-focused priorities include energy, water, waste, infrastructure, and resilience. In 2025, the policy priority is to finally get the lead out of Texas schools.

PlanetSigmon spent a year collaborating with real estate professionals to explore emerging topics at the nexus of technology and real estate with the Urban Land Institute: Austin.

PlanetSigmon partnered with tech influencer Liberty Madison to host a 2023, 2024, and 2025 experience for real estate, technology, and sustainability at SXSW.

PlanetSigmon donates time and expertise to the Emerald Cities Collaborative board of directors, together working towards a High Road economy by building more sustainable, just, and inclusive cities across America.

PlanetSigmon supports USGBC Texas by designing and leading a unique annual experience since 2023. "Green Buildings, Boats, and Bats" showcases Austin's green buildings and infrastructure from Town Lake.

PlanetSigmon supported the American Cities Climate Challenge in the development of a guide for cities on building standards for energy and carbon performance. (with Ember Strategies and Graybridge Solutions)

PlanetSigmon collaborated on the development of an educational guide to building decarbonization for a local government organization. (with Ember Strategies and Graybridge Solutions)

PlanetSigmon researched emerging technologies and best practices in indoor air quality and drafted recommendations for value-added services for the largest privately held real estate company in the world. (with Ember Strategies)

PlanetSigmon developed two papers with investment recommendations based on the economic and financial challenges facing China and the geopolitical and technological competition between the US and China.

PlanetSigmon contributed to the national development of a best-practices manual on the safe shutdown and start-up of building water systems, convened by IAPMO in partnership with the American Water Works Association, published in January 2023.

PlanetSigmon supported Project Etopia, a UK leader in green construction technology and innovation, in its efforts to bring high quality, high-performance homes to the USA at affordable prices. 

PlanetSigmon supported Ember Strategies' effort to make sense of the new landscape for commercial offices, developing coherent content, cogent visuals, interviewing experts, and collaborating with artists.

PlanetSigmon worked with the Alliance for National & Community Resilience to guide Martinsville, VA through a first-ever pilot of ANCR's community benchmarks for resilient buildings and resilient housing.

PlanetSigmon provided core content on integrating sustainability into the home office for Salesforce's work-from-home guidebook. (with Ember Strategies)

PlanetSigmon developed a policy brief and refined content for Recode in its effort with We the People of Detroit and others to reframe how Americans pay for and access safe drinking water. 

PlanetSigmon contributes time and expertise to the International WELL Building Institute's Homes Advisory to steer the development of a new WELL program or standard for promoting health in single-family homes across various typologies and regions. 

In partnership with Recipric and Ember Strategies, PlanetSigmon co-developed a solution for companies seeking to support and provide for their new remote workforce. 

PlanetSigmon supports altPOWER's work to deploy renewable energy systems across the globe by assisting photovoltaic installations and commissioning energy systems.

PlanetSigmon served on the development committee and contributed content and commentary for the Alliance for National & Community Resilience's new benchmark for resilient community water systems.

PlanetSigmon led the design and implementation of a college-wide sustainability survey for St Edmund Hall, Oxford and authored the follow-up report which is contributing towards the Hall’s forthcoming Sustainability Strategy.

PlanetSigmon contributed time and expertise on media, partnerships, and communications for this inspiring tandem cycling expedition that promotes a positive approach to a full and rich life, even (especially) with cancer.
